Maybe this as msn nick looks weird...
I shall be biased and do a review on the new album of David Tao, Beautiful
Being the 5th studio album for David, i should say this is the calmest album ever
compared to the last album, The Great Leap Forward 2005 after a long break,
this album does not have much provoking content towards the world...
its more like.. soft approach towards love..
ya.. i guess thats how i should put it.
Its one of the nicest album i have ever bought..
though the interior is simple..
its rather unique to see an album packed in such a way ba..

忘不了-Can't Get You Outta My Mind
The 1st 主打 of the whole album.
An old school song resung..
thats the 4th song i think..
there was 月亮代表我的心 resung as 月亮代表水的心
then there was also 夜来香 and 望春风..
while Susan 说 was resung from the famous oprea 苏三的寓言.
Its interesting... and when the lyrics went..

Track 3:
太美丽- Too Beautiful
a soothing song that is quite classical of DT.
Nice use of words by 娃娃 simply translates this song's spirit from its melody.
there is hardly any "chim" words that would take u down.
Yet such simple words can make you fall in love with this song...
this is the 2nd 主打 of the whole album.
Track 4:
追-The Chase
The 4th track sounds a bit latin-ish to me..
but i dun listen to latin songs but it does sound like that to me la..
A fast paced song...
it says its spanish...
to me.. its abt the same la!! haha...
Track 5:
那一瞬间-The Moment
I feel stupid to keep using soothing to describe songs..
i should say that this song is pleasing to the ears..
simple yet he made used of his 假音 to change the flow of this song.
Track 6:
Walk On
This song ma...
sounds a bit faster pace-d the percussion is rather strong from this song..
and also.. there is also a fast piano piece in this whole song.
givin it somewhat a Fun attitude to this song..

自导自演的悲剧-How Long

The starting reminded me of 寂寞的季节 from the 1st compilation album he had (Ultrasound 乐之路）everything turns more David tao..
a sad atmosphere with the harmonica...
Its kinda amazing how a single harmonica can change the pace of the whole song.
Track 8:
祝你幸福-I Don't wanna know
Like the Website says..
it is indeed a fusion of 60s, 70s, and 80s.
It begins with a disco feel.. and gets into a funky style from the 80s..
ah.. it feels like his old single 宫宝鸡丁！
but its too messy le!! so hard to learn..
so many jumble up instruments..

I can say that this is my favorite track of the whole album...

this is my fav song for the album! i declare!

今天你要嫁给我-Marry Me Today
A very fun song featuring DT, and Jolin..
Jolin's voice very pleasing in this song..
not her usual style i think..
But the rap is the funniest part in the whole song!!
and the ending... erm...
I look forward to the MV!
Track 11:
每一面都美-So Beautiful
Besides ToO beautiful which is track 3, its SO BEAUTIFUL!
ok, reading from the website..
this reads like the song from sony ericsson...
hmm..
i think i may want to look at the commercial..
Track 12:
不爱-Forever
A bit of yelling... i should say this is a very emotional and difficult to grasp song..
a bit jazzy and sort of feel like the songs i heard in churches many years ago...
Very nice of David to incorporate such songs in this and the previous album...
Quite touching if u can listen very carefully.
Track 13:
Olia
A very sensual ending to his 5th album..
another church feel song which is very soothing.
Like 寿告良辰歌 in the 太平盛世(5th album), both songs end the album very nicely
Like a parting song.
The whole album is definitely value for money
espsecially for those who like creative lyrics, and soothing music.
The songs are hard to sing in general.
But that's what makes it a gem i feel.
Well Spent past an hour for this whole post but i don't regret..
